Perpetual Motion

A physical exploration about the energy principle and what happens if we break the natural energy paths to elucidate one very contemporary theme; that people and society influence and change the natural circuits. This can again be linked to environmental problems in the form of global warming and pollution. What will happen if this continues? Will the world stop? Explode? Reverse?

The Playground
Premiere 24th of February 2017.
It is an interactive, site-specific, dance performance for young children. It's a piece where the young audience is invited to play at their regular playground which has now turned into an open performance space.
Has been shown in Germany, Norway, Sweden, Australia, Finland, Latvia and Bangladesh.
Though She Be But Little, She Is Fierce
Premiere 16th of May 2016.
The piece has its inspiration from a very tragic event that took place in November 2014. One of my closest friends died suddenly and very unexpectedly. She was a young and promising dancer and I have created a solo piece dedicated to her memory. Dance was a natural part of her life and I'll never forget the first time I saw her dance on a stage. Her stage expression was completely unique and I have heard a friend say: "When she was on a stage, although she was a tiny girl, not even the tallest could outshine her". I want to show a glimpse of her to an audience that has never seen or heard of her. Our world lost a talented dancer who had a wonderful dance career ahead of her. I have created a piece that she can see from heaven where I think she is dancing with the angels.
